The city permit:
your verification chain.
A permit isn't paperwork. It's a chain of independent checkpoints — the plan reviewed before work starts, and two separate verifications after it's done.
The Plan Gets Checked
Before a permit is issued, the plan has to be solid: equipment sized right, electrical safe, everything to code and best practice. In this same phase we register the project with CHEERS and engage CalRaters — the independent HERS verifier — so third-party verification is locked in before work ever starts.
Verified Twice — By People Who Don't Work For Us
We install exactly to the approved plan. Then CalRaters, the independent HERS rater, tests the finished system and files results to CHEERS. Only after HERS passes does the city inspector do the final walk — confirming the plan was followed and everything was done right.
Everyone Can Stand Behind It
A finaled permit backed by registered HERS results is proof on record. It's why the manufacturer honors the warranty, the insurer covers the home, and a future buyer's inspector finds nothing to flag.
If a quote skips the permit, it skips the proof.
Every Vargas HVAC installation is permitted, HERS-verified through CHEERS by an independent rater, and city-finaled — with permit and HERS fees passed through at cost.
