Privacy Policy

Vargas HVAC • Effective date: October 12, 2026

This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, and who else can see it.

We do not sell your information.

Vargas HVAC has never sold, rented, or traded personal information, and we never will. We don't give or sell your name, phone number, email, or address to marketers, lead brokers, or other HVAC companies. Your information is used for one thing: helping you with your heating and cooling.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: when you fill out a booking, contact, quote, or QR code form, you give us details such as your name, phone number, email address, service address, and a description of the problem. If you scanned a QR code on a unit sticker or invoice, we also record that code so we can match your request to your equipment or account.
  • Service records: if you become a customer, we keep records of the work we do, such as quotes, invoices, equipment details, and service history.
  • Website usage data: like most websites, we collect basic technical information automatically, such as pages visited, buttons clicked, browser and device type, and an approximate location (city-level, from your IP address). We use the city only to show local information, such as your city's name or weather, on the page.

How we use your information

  • To call or email you back about your request and schedule service.
  • To prepare quotes and invoices and to do the work you asked for.
  • To keep a service history so we can support your equipment over time.
  • To understand how our website is used and make it work better.
  • To measure whether our advertising works, such as whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to call us or submit a form.

We won't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask to join.

Who else can see it

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our website and business. They process information on our behalf to provide their service to us. This is not a sale of your information.

Google

Google Firebase stores the form submissions you send us. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measure website traffic, and Google Ads measures whether our ads lead to calls and form submissions.

Microsoft Clarity

Shows us how visitors use our pages, through heatmaps and anonymized session replays, so we can fix confusing or broken parts of the site.

Vercel

Hosts our website and handles standard server logs and city-level location lookups.

When required by law

We will disclose information only if required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The analytics and advertising tools listed above use them to count visits and measure ad results. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work, and you can always reach us by phone.

Your choices

  • See or correct your information: ask us what we have on file for you, and we'll tell you or fix it.
  • Delete your information: ask us to delete your contact details. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, for tax and warranty purposes.
  • Stop contact: tell us to stop calling or emailing you and we will.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we don't sell your information, there is nothing to opt out of, but you can still contact us with any request. We won't treat you differently for making one.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and service records for as long as they help us serve you, and as long as tax, warranty, or licensing rules require. Analytics data is kept under the retention settings of each analytics provider.

Security

Our site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and access to customer records is limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Updates to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date at the top. Our commitment not to sell your information will not change.
